Just wanted to send a heads up that there's only a week left in our 2022 BBB Kickstarter campaign. We're at 57% funded but have a long way to go. We're incredibly proud of all the comics we've put together for 2022 and sincerely hope we're able to birth these book babies into the world.
If you're unable to back the campaign, we'd still appreciate any help you can provide in getting the word out. We've made a super-easy-to-share Twitter thread featuring each comic (pinned to our Twitter page). We tend to focus our social media efforts on Instagram since it's more image-based, but we're pulling out all the stops for this campaign!
We just spent way too long on this silly stop-motion promo for Brett Hamil's SK8 Dad Summer. Busted out the accordions for this one!

A sincere & hearty thank you to all of you who made this year's publications possible. All rewards have shipped as of a couple weeks ago (unless you didn't fill out your survey), so everyone should now be enjoying their comics. Please let me know if you have not received yours, and we'll figure out why!
If you like what you read, please consider leaving a review on Goodreads.com. We don't sell our comics on Amazon (I know, I know.They now own Goodreads), so reviews on there can really help our artists. All Birdcage Bottom Books publications, even mini-comics, are listed on there.
November Garcia's "Malarkey #4" debuted at Comic Arts Brooklyn (CAB) last weekend to much fanfare and gnashing of teeth. It was a late addition to the year's output, so if you missed adding it to your Kickstarter reward you can now order it through the Birdcage Bottom Books distro (along with the previous issues and "Rookie Moves").
I'm now pivoting towards what we'll be putting out in 2020. It's gonna be great having a new president, so maybe our output won't be quite as dark but probably not 'cause we love the darkness. We're still in discussion with some of the artists, so I can't release too many details, but I can say we're ecstatic to tell you Jamie Vayda (Left Empty, LOUD COMIX) is hard at work on a graphic novel called "Ghost Are Real" that we will definitely be publishing when he's done. He's going to set up an Instagram account to post his progress soon, so be on the lookout for that. Here's the cover art (I haven't cleaned it up or colored it yet):

Hey backers! I just wanted to check in and let you know that I'm shipping your rewards out as fast as I can. Just printed up Max's gorgeous Raunchy Bowl minis, so if you were one of the lucky few to snag one (or the original art), those are going out shortly. I've been tucking stickers into the books and including other freebies, so keep an eye out for those.
Oh, and if you added November Garcia's "Malarkey #4", I just got word from the printer that those have shipped. I'll be debuting Malarkey at Comic Arts Brooklyn (CAB) on November 2nd, table E23, so please come say hi!
